From the M-40, take exit 36 (Ciudad de la Imagen), or from the A5 take the exit for San Martín de Valdeiglesias. M-501 towards San Martín de Valdeiglesias. After bypassing San Martín, you’ll come to a roundabout – head towards Ávila on the N-403.
After around 15 km you’ll arrive at the El Burguillo Reservoir. We’re located at km 97.5, on the left hand side of the road on the banks of the reservoir. To turn back, pass the Posada, continue on for about 200 m, and take the exit on the left, next to the care home.
If you search for us on Google, be warned that it might tell you to go around the village (El Barraco) – take no notice, you can change direction at the care home, continuing on for those 200 m.
The CEVESA bus company operates a service from the Príncipe Pío de Madrid bus station, which takes you to El Tiemblo. Buses run every two hours, and the fare is €6.60. We can arrange a taxi to pick you up in El Tiemblo and bring you to the Posada. The fare is around €10.
Take the N-403 towards Toledo. Cross the Puerto de la Paramera and drive through El Barraco. After crossing the reservoir via the La Gaznata bridge, continue for 1.5 km – the hotel is on the right hand side.
Take the A40 towards Ávila. In Maqueda, continue on the N-403 as far as the El Burguillo Reservoir. The hotel is located at km 97.5, on the left hand side of the road on the banks of the reservoir. To turn back, pass the Posada, continue on for about 300 m, and take the exit on the left, next to the care home.
