Our hotel is located in a privileged natural environment that we very much want to conserve, and in a rural area that, like most such places, suffers from population decline and a lack of opportunities. We are acutely aware of this, and work hard to reduce the environmental impact of our business, while at the same time doing all that we can to generate economic and social benefits for the surrounding villages.
We want to conserve and improve the environment in which we are fortunate to be: a natural and rural area that, like most, suffers from depopulation and lack of opportunities.
Aware of this, we work to reduce the impact of our activity on the environment, while at the same time having a positive impact on the economy and society of the villages that surround us.
You can help us to save energy simply by using your common sense. In the winter, by closing the draught excluders and the entrance door, ventilating your room for no more than 10 minutes using the tilt and turn position for the windows, not leaving the windows open and turning the lights off when you go out, keeping the temperature at a maximum of 22°C, not leaving the hot water tap on, reusing towels when they’re not dirty, and in summer by turning the air conditioning off when the windows are open, and being sure to leave the awning and the blinds down when you go out. And by taking good care of the natural world and picking up rubbish when you’re out walking – every little helps!
