The beach and the mountains, for the celebration of your dreams

La Posada del Agua is the ideal spot for that celebration you’ve always dreamt of, with the beach and the mountains providing an idyllic setting. Enjoy the outdoor space and the hotel’s own catering service, and offer your guests a gastronomic menu based on the very best of local produce.

Outdoor activities, visits and food tastings

Horseback riding, water sports, hiking, tastings of local products, winery visits and more. A stay at La Posada del Agua will give you the opportunity to enjoy a whole host of different activities.

Hiking

Discover La Lancha de las Víboras in the Iruelas Valley, and El Castañar de El Tiemblo, and enjoy two circular routes that take you through different parts of the nature reserve. These are two low-difficulty walks, each around two hours long, that you can do on your own, or alternatively with one of us as your guide.

Horseback riding

On horseback you can reach exclusive areas of the Iruelas Valley Nature Reserve. The guides from the company we work with will make sure you don’t get lost, and will be able to provide lots of tips – no previous riding experience is necessary!

Sailing boat rental, Bungaboat trips, and a golf course

Choose between enjoying the water by learning to sail yourself, or by taking a trip on the Bungaboat, discovering tucked away places on the reservoir while sipping a drink. If golf is your thing, in Navaluenga you have a nine-hole course set against the spectacular backdrop of the mountains of the Sierra de Gredos.

Canoeing and paddle surfing

One the best activities during the months of fine weather – the reservoir is the perfect place for a spot of canoeing, even if you’ve never tried it before. For events and groups, they bring the canoes up to the beach at the Posada, so that you don’t have to go and pick them up yourself. A real luxury!

Brewery visit and craft beer tasting

In nearby El Barraco, you can visit the Raíz Cuadrada beer factory where Israel and Héctor will show you how they use circular economy criteria to make their beers, and round things off with a tasting where you can savour the flavour!

Winery visit

There are several PDO Cebreros wineries that organise visits to the vineyards, which include an explanation of how the wine is produced and a tasting – an experience that combines nature and gastronomy.

Tasting of local specialities

The producers come to the Posada to present their cheeses, wines and beers, explaining the history behind their products, and suggesting pairings. What better way to get to know true rural entrepreneurs

Yoga and mindfulness sessions

If you need to relax and unwind, we can organise yoga or mindfulness sessions with expert instructors who’ve set up retreats in our hotel. The perfect complement for a different kind of business meeting.
